Why is Mr. Talifilu Standing up to CCP?

Celsus Talifilu: By standing up to Beijing, there are concerns that people have told me and in my family, my wife, and my kids, they do feel intimidated by some of the things that have happened to them, you know, they've been watched, something that is not normal. Even my daughter was quite fearful to use my surname at the university that she's attending, I think those are elements themselves that speaks of what is happening to us. And any normal human being would see - those things , there can be fear in you. But like I've said many times, our place is important. Once upon a time, our place belongs to some people, they look after us, look after the place for us. And we have the same responsibility too, to continue looking after the place for our next generations. And, that is something beyond just a family, that is beyond just a tribe, that is something beyond just a province. That is something for the place I come from, which is Solomon Island.
