千层酥 Homemade Buttery & Flaky Mille-Feuille

Mille-feuille is a French pastry also known as a vanilla slice or custard slice. Our recipe is not entirely traditional but it still tastes amazingly buttery and flaky and sweet!
INGREDIENTS:
- homemade puff pastry (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a64xC7ena00)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp. sugar
DIRECTIONS:
1. roll out your puff pastry if needed until it is 1 cm thick and cut into equal-sized rectangles
2. place onto baking sheet with adequate space in between and bake for 20 minutes at 350 F (tip, poke holes in puff pastry with fork if you want air to escape)
3. flip halfway through
4. drain on a paper towel
5. mix heavy cream and sugar on high speed on it becomes whipped cream. be careful not to over-mix!
6. layer cream between the puff pastries
7. top with fruit and powdered sugar
8. serve and enjoy!
