This year, there have been close to 10 cities and towns held a flag-raising ceremony and a landmark light-up to celebrate Falun Dafa Day. Canada is a beautiful. The Niagara Falls and Kingston Thousand Islands are particularly beautiful by flying the Falun Dafa Day flag. Moreover, there have been more than 120 politicians across Canada who sent congratulatory letters, videos, proclamations to celebrate this day. Together, like each year, on May 13th, Falun Gong practitioners and their supporters around the world celebrate World Falun Dafa Day, to show appreciations and respects to Mr. Li, the founder for his teachings and the goodness they have brought to people’s lives. Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a meditation practice that consists of five exercises and moral teachings based on the tenets of “truthfulness, compassion, tolerance,” The practice was first introduced to the public in 1992 and gained widespread popularity in China. Now Falun Gong is practiced in around 100 countries, its teachings freely available in 40 languages (all Falun Gong books and exercise instruction videos are free to download).
