Work Advocate: Treatment of Poor People is 'Mean' in the U.S. 'All Work Has Dignity'

Matt Paprocki, president and CEO of the Illinois Policy Institute lamented about the "mean" treatment of poor people who want to work in the U.S. while testifying to the House Ways and Means Committee Work and Welfare Subcommittee on Tuesday. Paprocki was among a group of witnesses offering testimony in the House subcommittee's hearing centering on "The Dignity of Work," advocating for help for poor Americans to find jobs.
