Wood turning - Shou Sugi Ban PINE BOWL

A prototype bowl using a method inspired by the Japanese method of Shou Sugi Ban. I 'borrowed' a small kitchen blow torch that my wife uses in the house to make Crème brûlée! (hopefully she won't miss it too much) I am not sure that I like the finish, but I am pleased that I gave it a go. Nothing ventured etc!!!
