But...I’m gonna tell you again. It leaves me with an empty feeling in my soul when it’s over. I just can’t explain it any other way. I wish I were more like Jim and it’s just a “matter of fact” thing. I love what we do. I love being on the road. I love the people we are in contact with. I love the story that’s told each year. I love spending the time together. I love everything about this crazy way of life. And I will miss it. The real world kicks in as soon as we walk in the house. And then it feels like the past 107 days never happened. I am blessed to have been a part of this lifestyle. And I have my grandparents to blame. For ALL of it. 😊 What’s next? Fall harvest. Jim and the combine will be cutting soybeans for a local farmer. I will be driving combine for a different local farmer - cutting soybeans and corn. So, my videos will continue. There just won’t be any big drives involved. And, you’ll get a taste of fall harvest in Eastern Nebraska.
