What Causes Erectile Dysfunction (ED) - Disease or Symptom - NHS A to Z - Dr Gill

Dr Gill Clinical Skills
Erectile Dysfunction Disease or Symptom - NHS A to Z - Dr Gill In our last A to Z of the NHS, we looked at the often hidden issue of depression - you can see that video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzA-WTEYyaY Given that the video received a lot of positive feedback, as we move into the letter E, we thought we'd begin by trying to shine a light on another area of health that is often ignored or brushed away - erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction is - broadly speaking - a serious issue, as it can indicate other problems within the body, hence why erectile dysfunction is more often actually a symptom than a disease in its own right. Possible causes of ED can be huge - neurological, cardiological, vascular, psychological, endocrinological. However, in the vast majority of cases, it is related to mental health issues and can be resolved Hence, the core message of this video is that if you have similar symptoms, please see your GP!
