Video footage shows Rolando Salinas, Mayor of Eagle Pass, Texas, speaking in an interview about the rising numbers of illegal immigrants arriving at the border. “This is definitely a very serious situation for the City of Eagle Pass,” the mayor says. He also criticizes the Biden administration for the crisis. “I haven’t heard from anybody in the administration, the president hasn’t put out a statement,” Mr. Salinas says. “We are here abandoned around the border, asking for help. This is unacceptable.”
