Vivaldi concerto RV315 « Summer » Presto for clarinet ensemble and continuo

Nicolas BALDEYROU
Dear friends, I’m so happy to release this new video of Vivaldi’s Four seasons. Here is the famous Presto of the Summer concerto RV 315. This movement is based on beautiful sonnet describing a very destructive summer storm : Ah che pur troppo i Suo timor Son veri Tuona e fulmina il Ciel e grandioso Tronca il capo alle Spiche e a' grani alteri. Alas, his fears were justified The Heavens thunder and roar and the hail cuts the head off the wheat and damages the grain. This is a very challenging piece, to master double tonguing together with a good digital synchronization, try to describe the blustery weather, thunder and lightning and to work on the continuo on the harpsichord was quite a treat. But to be honest I had some much fun, especially on this beautiful boxwood Buffet Legende which is no longer a prototype but part of the catalogue, hope you’ll like it ! 😊🙏✨
