USDA Partly Blames Russia for Thanksgiving Price Hikes

A recent American Farm Bureau Federation survey shows the average cost for a Thanksgiving dinner for 10 will cost about $64 this year—up 20% from last year. The Department of Agriculture had partly blamed Russia’s conflict in Ukraine for the Thanksgiving price hikes, as well as the avian flu and drought in the U.S.
NTD reached out to the USDA, asking how Russia has impacted Turkey prices in the U.S.—but the USDA did not directly answer the question.
