US Unprepared for EMP Attack From China: Expert

U.S. infrastructure is not well equipped for an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack from a foreign adversary, according to New York Times best-selling author and EMP expert William Forstchen. He explains to NTD that in such an event, the American power grid would be severely disrupted, modern society as we know it would crumble, and some 90 percent of Americans would perish in the first week. Forstchen estimates that it would wipe out hundreds of years of progress in America. He points out that any adversary with nuclear weapons has the ability to launch an EMP attack, and China has been researching this field extensively.
