US: Satellite System to Track Hypersonic Weapons

Washington plans to pour over a billion dollars into advanced satellites development to go toward systems to better track hypersonic missile threats, according to comments from the Pentagon on Monday. Defense officials announced two new contracts that will launch the tracking systems into orbit by 2025.
