US Responds to Criticism Over Democracy Summit

The United States is pushing back against Beijing’s criticism of its upcoming democracy summit. President Joe Biden is set to host the virtual summit next week, and over a hundred countries will come together to discuss how to protect democracy. The United States invited Taiwan, but China and Russia are not on the guest list.
