US Aircraft Flies Into Hurricane Fiona

Capitol Report
Capitol Report
The U.S. Department of Defense says a U.S. Air Force Super Hercules aircraft flew inside the eye of Hurricane Fiona on Wednesday. The plane flies into tropical weather systems to collect atmospheric data for the National Hurricane Center. The Center reported Fiona was up to Category 4 power Wednesday as it heads toward Bermuda later tonight. It is forecast to hit the easternmost part of Canada this weekend. Many are still without power or water in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic after Fiona swept through earlier this week.
