Whilst fame was brought about by Sherlock Holmes, the star of The Lost World classic is Professor Challenger, a character that ACD would have liked to develop, but was not able to, as a result of continued desire for further Sherlock stories to be published in The Strand Magazine This is the second chapter of the adventure to a land that time forgot, A Lost World!
