Texas Reclaims Defensive Island From Cartels

The Texas Department of Public Safety took control of a 170-acre island in the Rio Grande after decades of Mexican cartel control. The move was boosted by Texas's Operation Lone Star, which is aimed at preventing criminal activity at the Texas-Mexico border.
