Staining The Floors Transforms The Interior

Wild Wonderful Off-Grid
In today's video we are finally going to finish our wood floors! The unexpected flooding of our RV forced us to move into our A-Frame home earlier than expected and now we are stuck having to juggle a multiple day project along with not being able to stay inside the house and not having an RV. We will need to fill any gaps/open knots with wood filler (and let it dry), sand the floors 3 times, vacuum in between each sanding, wait for any particles in the air to settle and wipe the floors down with tacky cloths a few times all BEFORE we can even start staining. Once the stain is dry we can start the polyurethane top coat which is a whole other multiple step task. This is our first time finishing wood floors- will they turn out or will we have a major mess to clean up? After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while we built our own off-grid house and learned to lived a more self-reliant life.
