Hello Dr. Westman I know you're not a big believer of macros but I've recently switched mine and increased my protein to about a hundred grams a day and lowered my fat grams to about 75-80 and I see a very big Improvement in weight loss also I'm much Fuller. I used to do the opposite at least 100 grams of fat and only 70-80 protein whats your take on the new science of the muscle protein synthesis with the importance of retaining muscle while losing weight
Mary - 04:41
I need to know! I don't want to get any thinner.

Hi, Dr Setven Phenny talks about 50 grams a day, what do you think?
Renee - 5:29
I want to know, too. I'll put an additional question about the number of carbs if you are working out - I am doing one hour six days a week - strength training and cardio. I am not doing it to lose weight as I have been maintaining a 100+ weight loss for over a year now. I just really enjoy exercise now.
