Shen Yun Awarded the Certificate of Recognition in Long Beach

Shen Yun Performing Arts graced the Terrace Theatre stage in Long Beach, California on March 30th and 31st showcasing an all-new program of classical Chinese dance and musical pieces. Councilwoman Mary Zendejas, for district 1 in the city of Long Beach, awarded Shen Yun a certificate of recognition, applauding the company for its revival of Chinese culture. “What I got from the show today was that [it is] so important to understand culture from its historic form and to be able to embrace it and celebrate it. And I think that's what I want to continue doing as long as we keep having them back.”
