Restoration of Community One Remedy for Higher Suicide Rate Among American Youth: Jeffrey Tucker

NTD News
NTD News
America’s youth are being lost to homicide and suicide at a significantly higher rate, according to a new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Centers analyzed data on 10-to-24-year-olds from 2001 to 2021. NTD speaks to Jeffrey Tucker, the founder and president of the Brownstone Institute, for his views on a path forward and on ways to help reverse this trend. He says lockdowns following the emergence of COVID-19 “truncated the human personality and demoralized people, and people turned to substance abuse.” This is leading to the consequences outlined in the CDC study, he says. Tucker offers the solution of personal interaction and a restoration of the community to bring an end to these alarming statistics.
