Reaction in Self defense

Reaction in legitimate defense. What rules should you follow? Take note. 1. It must be in the face of an aggression that you have not caused. 2. It must be a real attack. 3. It must be due to an imminent attack (occurring at that moment). 4. It must be a reaction of similar force and not exaggerated, compared to the aggression received.
