Put The Spline In The Coconut Part Four

Repair or replace a spline section on a hardened shaft is the challenge and we start off the project by attempting to anneal the ares needed to be refurbished. Hydrated lime and a number 6 torch tip, heating and controlled cooling is the plan. I take the fully welded up repair and turn it to size and cut the splines , Then we heat treat it just before sending it off to the customers. ;{)
