[PREVIEW] Rep. Tim Burchett on McCarthy Ouster: I Voted With My Conscience

I sit down with Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) to discuss why he chose to vote to oust Kevin McCarthy as House speaker. He is one of eight Republicans to do so. “I'm tired of these continuation budgets, continuing resolutions. We passed them for 30 days, and then they told me, they said, 'Tim, we need to pass this one, so we won't have to pass another one,'” says Rep. Burchett. “That's like telling a crackhead, 'Hey, I am going to give you crack to get you off of crack.' It just doesn't work. We are addicted now to our great-grandchildren's money. And yet, we still go down this road every time.”
