Pentagon Urges Funding for Ukraine, Department of Defense when House is Back in Session

Deputy Defense Department Press Secretary Sabrina Singh expressed the Pentagon's worries over a potential government shutdown, urging the House to pass a supplemental spending bill providing Ukraine aid and upcoming financial allocations for the entire DoD at a Tuesday press conference in Washington. Singh added these supplemental spending bills are still only a "stopgap" and limits the Pentagon's ability to fund a "fully-resourced national defense strategy."
