Pen Turning - Who Needs a Mandrel?

I've wanted to try creating a pen for a while now but didn't want to spend on buying a mandrel and other paraphernalia before I tried it - thanks to a Video by @prokraftuk I found a way and think I've just found what to do with all those scraps of wood & resin in the off-cut bin.
