An unprecedented number of NYPD police officers are leaving the force as crime continues to soar. According to The Epoch Times, more than 2,500 officers have resigned just this year. That includes a 100 percent increase (since 2020) in officers leaving the force before they reach the 20 years required to receive their full pensions. NTD spoke with retired New Jersey police detective, Lt. Steven Rogers, for his perspective.
