NY Governor Signs Bill to Monitor Hate Conduct

In response to the recent mass shooting in Buffalo, Gov. Kathy Hochul signed a number of bills with the goal of preventing these kinds of incidents in the future. One bill requires social media platforms to report hateful conduct on their platforms. An expert says the new law could raise First Amendment concerns.
