Israel said the ambulance was being used by Hamas to transport terrorists. Palestinian sources say the airstrike left several people dead. The rising death toll in Gaza has prompted some Democrats on Capitol Hill to voice concern over the Israeli military's operations, while others are saying civilian casualties are inevitable in war.
