Former President Donald Trump and several of his co-defendants appealed a judge’s ruling on Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Judge Scott McAfee allowed Ms. Willis to continue prosecuting the Georgia RICO case. Authorities began clearing the shipping lane and clearing debris from the collapsed Baltimore bridge. Officials stressed that the clean-up and recovery of the waterway is a matter of national concern. House Speaker Mike Johnson and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott met to discuss border security. The governor told Mr. Johnson that the border crisis is unacceptable, and asked him to pass bills addressing border security. Israel's supreme court temporarily halted government funds to ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students, who are traditionally exempt from mandatory military service. This means that ultra-Orthodox Jewish students could potentially lose their exemption from mandatory military service. It was a historic ruling that could have far-reaching consequences for the government. The government has to revise its military conscription plan by Monday.
