In an unprecedented speech in Congress on Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Mr. Schumer called Mr. Netanyahu an obstacle to peace and said Israel needs to hold new elections to replace him. The speech drew condemnation from Republican lawmakers. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said his office is open to delaying former President Donald Trump's hush money trial by 30 days. That means the trial will start in late April. In President Trump's classified documents case, the judge denied one of the motions to dismiss it. President Trump's attorneys had argued the charges should be dropped due to "unconstitutional vagueness." The former president was in the courthouse for the hearing.
