Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), who dropped out of the race for the White House, is expected to endorse former President Donald Trump over his state's former governor Nikki Haley. President Trump, Ms. Haley, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis have been campaigning in New Hampshire days ahead of the primary. Trump's legal team told the Supreme Court that kicking President Trump off the ballot would lead to “chaos and bedlam.” Meanwhile, another challenge to Trump's ballot eligibility is underway in Massachusetts. Winter storms battered the United States from coast to coast with another round of frigid temperatures. Across the country, at least 50 people have died during the past two weeks because of the cold. Actor Alec Baldwin is indicted again over the 2021 fatal shooting on the set of the movie “Rust.” A New Mexico grand jury has charged Mr. Baldwin with two counts of involuntary manslaughter.
