North Carolina State Senate Passes Parental Rights Bill

In North Carolina, the Senate has advanced the “Parents' Bill of Rights” legislation. It prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity. The Republican majority says it will allow greater parental involvement in their children’s education.
