New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently announced that the illegal immigrant crisis has forced the city to slash school, police, and library budgets. The cuts will reduce New York Police Department officers to below 30,000, and slash the education department by $1 billion, among other cuts. As Israel Defense Forces (IDF) make gains in the northern part of Gaza, they're preparing for the next phase of ground operations. The IDF's chief of staff said they are “close to dismantling the military system in the northern Gaza Strip." Palestinians in parts of southern Gaza said they received evacuation notices today. Meanwhile, local communications services are down across the Gaza Strip, due to a lack of fuel.
