Lawmakers Work to Boost US Chip Production

The House of Representatives has unveiled a bill that Democrats say would increase U.S. semiconductor manufacturing and give the U.S. a leg up in its race against China.  But why is China considered a threat anyway—given most advanced chips are made in Taiwan?
