Lawmakers Warn of Possible Threats Targeting Americans' DNA, Food Supply

House Intelligence Committee member Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) on Friday warned Americans not to use DNA testing services. During an Aspen Security Forum panel discussion, he said U.S. adversaries could collect Americans’ DNA from companies and weaponize it. He said governments can “actually take someone’s DNA … you know, their medical profile, and you can target a biological weapon that will kill that person or take them off the battlefield or make them inoperable.”
