While the Israel–Hamas cease-fire has played a huge role in the release of Israeli and international hostages, it is also being used by both the Israel Defense Forces and the Hamas terrorist organization to consider their military tactics to date—and to prepare for the intense battles that are bound to ensue once the cease-fire ends.
