GOP Senators Visit Texas, Democrats to Visit Border Soon

Congressional Republicans again made their way down to the southern border on March 3, while House Democrats are reportedly taking a trip of their own to the US-Mexico border later this month. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) led Senate Republican whip, Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), and a handful of others to the Rio Grande sector. Sen. Cornyn spoke on the Senate floor on March 2, previewing the trip.
