Global Central Banks Unleash More Rate Hikes

Central banks around the world are stepping up their fight against inflation. On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve raised its rate, and this prompted other central banks to do the same. The next day, the Bank of England lifted its key interest rate by half a percentage point, as did Norway. Switzerland, raised its interest rate by three-quarters of a percentage point.
