EU Foreign Policy Chief Pays Tribute to 'Slowly Murdered' Alexei Navalny

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell paid tribute to the late Russian political prisoner Alexei Navalny, who he says was "slowly murdered in a Russian jail by Putin's regime" during a Monday press conference. Borrell extended condolences to Navalny's family and proposed to rename the EU's global human rights sanctions body after Navalny.
