New York City police commissioner James O’Neil and Mayor Bill de Blasio paid tribute to a police officer killed during an alleged robbery in Queens, New York, on February 12. “Once again our hearts are broken in New York City,” commissioner O’Neil said during a press conference at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where the police officer was brought for treatment. Mayor de Blasio said: “We lost a very good man.”
