Ripple - To The Good Samaritans In Our Lives- Thank You

I remember when I was still a little kid, my Chinese neighbours were the nicest people I've ever known. These people were from the lower rank of middle class. They were so giving and caring. At that time, I stayed at the ground floor. They would usually go up to my window to give my younger sister and I stuff like chocolates, snacks, soft drinks etc. Maybe because they knew that my mom was working two jobs, a HDB cleaner in the morning and a production line worker in the afternoon. I guess they saw how she struggled to bring us up. When I was 4 years old, I used to cry a lot at the staircase outside my house. Punished for no reason. This frail old Chinese lady always came to my rescue. She's my angel and I always think about her when I'm sad. Because of these experiences, I told myself that whenever I have a chance to help anyone, I would not look at their skin color. We all belong to one race, that is, the human race. Spread love.
