2018-02-27 15:29
Staff helped a woman to give birth in a Mexican meat market in Fresno, California, after the woman suddenly realized she was about to give birth while shopping on the night of on December 26, local media reported. Staff had attempted to call 911 after the woman screamed, “Oh my God, I’m having my baby,” but were compelled to help her themselves when their calls went unanswered. The store’s butcher caught the baby in his apron, the store owner cut the umbilical cord and another employee ran to a nearby house to get a suction syringe to clear the baby’s airway as they thought the baby looked purple. Paramedics and firefighters arrived on the scene after the baby was born and took the child and its mother to a nearby hospital. Credit: Facebook/El Parian via Storyful
