NINJA KIDS DOJO in English - LESSON 7 (ep0107)

Rick's Ninja Kids Dojo
This week we'll cover Zanshin no Kata or the 5 Elements Form - this is an essential kata that comes from The Kamakura period (1192 ~ 1333 AD). It's essence and form are identical now as back then, yet each person has his / her own way of doing it. This week we will also cover: kamae, uke (blocks), tsuki (punches), keri (kicks) as well as some new Japanese words for the American kids and some new English words for the Japanese kodomo. This week's theme is Ninja and Samurai in Japanese History. There are is 1 intentional mistake in the video, it is in the opening prayer - I will give a 9th kyuu diploma (free) to anyone who points it out, I will also ask for 2 simple techniques explained (photo) or verbal. Also please note that I use the work "onna" for wave which in Japanese is "なみ nami" - I confused the word ona in Catalan which in Japanese (onna) means woman - speaking different languages every day can get sometimes a bit confusing.
