Bull Elk Duo With Horns Locked Together Found Dead in Pond

2018-11-02 16:09
A pair of bull elk were found dead in a Nebraska pond with their horns locked together on October 27. The sad discovery was made in Garfield County by Kendra Brinkman and her family. The Brinkmans, who run the local Pitzer Ranch, saw the antlers poking out from the water and decided to investigate. A video shared to the Pitzer Ranch YouTube channel explains how they removed the bull elk from the water, and how they planned to preserve the animals for others to come and see.
