Days 35 & 36 - 2021 Wheat Harvest / July 17 & 18 (New Raymer, CO)

Day 35 - Jamie, Curt and the kids headed for Dillon, CO. Taylor, Callie and Layne headed to Estes Park. Jim headed to town to dump the truck. I headed to the combine. Just as I was about to start the combine, Jim called. The moisture was too high, he was headed to Brush. I was to go back to the trailer house. There would be no cutting today. Day 36 - It rained some last night. We had a pretty laid-back Sunday. Decided to head out to the field at 4:30. Filled trucks before the damp night air made it too tough to cut.
