Dog pitch invasion becomes highlight of Georgia soccer game
Pitch invasions in sport often generate plenty of bad headlines - but players from Georgian teams Dila and Torpedo Kutaisi didn't seem too unhappy when a playful dog got on to the pitch during their top flight match at the weekend.
The incident held up play for around three minutes in the second half, with the dog taking a special liking to Torpedo goalkeeper Roin Kvaskhvadze.
Medical staff failed to get the animal off the pitch before defender David Khurtsilava finally lead it away.
The game ended in a 0-0 draw - despite a dogged performance from all involved.
