Community effort! Filipino villagers help neighbour carry house to new location

N
Footage shows a small town in the Philippines still practising an old custom called "Bayanihan" where people, usually men, help to carry a neighbour's house when they have decided to move to another location. The houses are usually made of bamboo for the structure and dried nipa on the roof. The tradition is believed to bring good luck to the person who is moving as the whole village helps with the task. Video footage shot in Quezon on 29th June 2019. (Pool via Newsflare/Screenshot via NTD)
