Classical Chinese Music - Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra 2016 Trailer

Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra presents Chinese music from 5,000 years of civilization. This East-West orchestra performs ancient melodies, blending Chinese instruments like the erhu and pipa with a grand Western symphony orchestra. Chinese music and classical music are united in this one-of-a-kind performance. Alongside original Shen Yun favorites, the concert features classical music masterpieces like Antonín Dvořák's Slavonic Dance, Camille Saint-Saëns' Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, and Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5. The concert also features Shen Yun's celebrated bel canto singers and erhu performances. This fall, the orchestra will perform at Carnegie Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, Kennedy Center Concert Hall, Chicago Symphony Center, and Roy Thompson Hall, as well as 13 concert halls in Asia. It’s East-West music like never before. Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra is the first to successfully blend the delicate beauty of ancient Chinese instruments with the grandeur and power of the Western symphony orchestra. Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra is part of the nonprofit organization Shen Yun Performing Arts and is based in New York.
