Russian President Vladimir Putin made a public appearance for the first time since the Wagner mutiny.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization, or SCO, held a virtual meeting on Tuesday. China and Russia led the body.
During the meeting, Chinese leader Xi Jinping addressed member states, showing opposition to the so-called color revolution.
A color revolution is a term used to describe protest movements that are anti-dictator or anti-authoritarian regimes.
Mr. Xi also urged member states to "enhance their solidarity," pledging to offer $3.7 billion to support Central Asia.
