China May Be Expanding South China Sea Air Base: Report

China might be building an airstrip on a disputed island in the South China Sea, according to a report from the Associated Press. Both Taiwan and Vietnam claim this island as their own, while China claims almost the entire South China Sea even though it's in violation of an international ruling. News of the airstrip comes from a satellite photo the agency captured and construction in the area first appeared in the beginning of this month.
